★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to like that place and the food there but this summer the live music was too loud. Some days we were sitting in the nearby places and the mixing musics were very unpleasant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience with the place is somewhat dissapointing. The food is generic. Nothing spectacular and the orders take a lot of time to arrive even when the place is mostly empty.
Also they hire young greek waiters and everyone knows greek are lazy people. I waited once for 12 minutes order something and i was completely ignored for some reason. I had to go to Aprhodita tavern to be able to order a gyros.
I heard it is a good place to try the fish but for everything else , just not worth it considering they have higher prices on everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What I really like about Gatos is the setting. It is quite nice to dine on the beach and not to have the foot traffic next to you. The food was good as it was the service. Prices are fair. Overall nothing spectacular but nothing wrong either.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely taverna with great food. My partner and I had lunch there twice after spending some time on the beach. Portions were more than enough, even big. Service was great. You definitely won’t regret choosing this place!
