★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good food, decent prices and wonderful view. We were there at the end of a busy Sunday, and the staff seemed to be tired and not in the mood to serve us. We wanted to try the mix seafood plate, but they ran out of it. At the end we were treated with a glass of kumquat liqueur on the house.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were looking for a local food around south-west Corfu. One of best was just around a corner, at Gardenos beach.
I recommend to try food at Julia’s in all honesty!
Everything was delicious, so full of flavor. We tried several local dishes during few days. Always asking for fresh menu. Even out of season, like May, you can found at least few fresh options…at least at Julia Tavern.
Portions are decent and usually we could managed without starters…or the other way just with few starters and desert. Prices lower than bars in neighboring villages.
This place is run by local Greek family. Men cooks, grills and occasionally steps out of the kitchen, while his wife is a waitress. Sometimes you can found a boy playing around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic little restaurant on an even better beach. Fair prices, huge portions and great quality. Service was good as well. Needless to say, I’ve favorited this place on my maps and will be visiting every time I go back to Corfu.
Do yourself a favor and get the Greek Salad, and Grilled Squid. I have had Squid in many countries and this by far was one of the best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best restaurants in Corfu! Great cooked fresh seafood. Perfect view. Kind staff. We visit Corfu last 4 years in a row and always return to Taverna Julia. Nerver been disappointed from the food and hospitality.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely family owned & run beachside taverna serving freshly prepared & cooked local dishes.
Food was delicious, very well cooked, portion sizes very generous and reasonably priced.
We had 2 starters, pork chop & gilt-head bream mains with baklava to finish. With a glass of wine, a beer & a large bottle of sparkling water our bill was only €37 !!!!
On top of all this the staff and service are excellent plus the views and location are brilliant too.
A must visit eatery when at Gardenos Beach irrespective of which side you arrive.
