★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spyridoula's cooking is known all over Crete, for the divine taste, top quality of materials used and her generous portions. Traditional cretan dishes, cooked with extra virgin olive oil from her own production, homemade bread in the stone stove, friendly stuff and the uncomparable atmosphere of the front yard are the ingredients of the succesful recipe called Kamares. Not to be missed!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went early September so take this review with a pinch of salt. Only had Greek salad on Thursday, and (room temperature) Brian and fresh meatballs on Friday. They were tasty and made by the host herself. Very friendly but no English menu. Bill for two mains and 2 fantas was 24eur, which seemed very high tbh, but paperless and no menu so hard to complain.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place. Big and spacious both interior and exterior. Traditional and tasty cuisine. Easy to find since it's close to the main road so make sure to stop even if you are just passing by the village of Lithines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Adorable taverna in a really cute town. We visited during October. Perfect weather. The town is worth a walk through. The taverna is very local, with a very friendly owner who took good care of us. No tourist menu, they have a few dishes daily. Had a mushroom & ham pasta that was amazing. Very small town authentic experience.
