Traditional greek cuisine. Limited menu but the best fish and shrimp.Took a little long to receive the order but it was all cooked on spot

There only seemed to be one person trying to cook and serve. The consequence was we ordered a drink and finished it before we saw a menu. So we left for somewhere that could cope. The toilets were hidden around the back, dirty, had no paper towels or paper. We’ll not rush back.

Best Greek salad in all of Kerkyra, lovely host and a beautiful restaurant garden. Much recommended!

Really tasty authentic food, definitely recommend the fresh fish - by far the best thing on the menu. Owner speaks very limited English but she’s very friendly and managed to get by after a while. Little bit of a wait for food because it’s only her cooking and serving but certainly worth the wait.

Fresh fish so fresh! Everything very tasty after beach & sea chill. Thanks Maria! Wonderful women! We russian speaking ukranian, and she speaking greek understand easy other very well. Tasty food and great hospitality all managed by one woman. Our party of 6 stopped here for lunch. At first we were wondering if we had made a good decision, but were very happy with everything.

Yassas! I'm the person who added this here on Gmaps. The place is a rural greek taverna managed by (i think) one person, Maria,also the server and the cooker in this place. The food here it's AMAZING, the best I ate in corfu !!. I ate here "beefsteak" (actually 2 seasoned burgers on grill) and the real fresh tzaziki(one portion enough for two). My girlfriend choose pork chop seasoned with olive oil and herbs, so tender and delicious. Fried potatoes(from Maria's garden) included on almost all dishes on the menu. Also the menu include gyros, souvlaki, sardines, calamari(another tourist said it was amazing). Maria will explain the dishes available. Her english is not so good but she try so hard to be nice and serve you the best. Prices : 8€ for seasoned burgers + fried potatoes ; 7€ for pork chop + fried potatoes; 3 € tzaziki; 2 € for 1.5L water ; 2.5- 3.5 € for 0.5 bottle of beer. The place : I didn't took photos :(, but the place it's beautiful on it's own. It's a terrace in the shadows of some tall trees. The place fits about 8 tables with 4 seats but it's a wide place and many tables could be added. I have to mention, looks rural, but it's clean, and cozy. Maria also has 2 CATS ! The place is not so hard to find, because it's the closest restaurant to Halikounas Beach, on the shore of Korission Lake. When we left, Maria asked us to recommend her restaurant to people and I want to help her so I added this to Gmaps. We stopped at the taverna to use the facilities and order lunch. We had a drink but decided not to order food as the menu was extremely limited. The view is pretty (over the lake), but that brings with it lots of bugs and the lake smell. The owner speaks almost no English - but hats off, she does well and can be understood. I give it 3 stars as it was fine - just not for us.
