★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For about 30 km of the City Center Of Thessaloniki there is a great Fish Tavern, that will surprise you, in a good way.
The direct translation of the tavern in english is the “Tall Guy's Tavern” and when you go you ll see why. It's in Epanomi's seaside area with a great view of the mount Olympus and a great spot to see the sunset. The people are very polite and friendy and you 'll never be served seafood that is of season. They just don't . Great typical greek fish tavern decor but if you go when the time of year is hot enough, outside sitting is a must. Nothing bad to say about this place, only sometimes in greek holidays or Sundays the place is packed. One of my 2 top surprises of the year

The service is nice, but do not let them trigger you and make you stupid with the prices and final bill in a slip. Ask for recipe with tax and official QR code if not, than tell them your going to call the finance authorities!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place certainly has a unique atmosphere. It reminded me of some films of Jacques Tati. A warm nostalgic feeling, the screeches of birds (there are real birds inside in the cages under the roof) and lovely owner of the place. This place is a symbol of summer that weakens and goes by, but the remembrance of those days stays with you forever. Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place! Very authentic and cheap. It's possible to pay with the card. The owner is super friendly. The food is fantastic. Everything tasted well but our favorite was fresh squid and salad :)
