★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ζήσαμε τα ωραιότερα παιδικά χρόνια σε αυτή την γειτονιά, γαληνεύει η ψυχή μας στη θέα και στον ήχο της καθαριας θάλασσας και μας εξοργίζει η απάθεια κ η ανικανότητα κάθε δημοτικής αρχής να καθαρίζει, συντηρεί κι εξωραΐζει την περιοχή. Καλό το θαλασσινό καρναβάλι αλλά προτιμούμε τον σεβασμό στην καθημερινότητα....
We lived the most beautiful childhood years in this neighborhood, our souls are tranquil in the sight and sound of the clear sea, and we are annoyed by the apathy and inability of every municipal authority to clean, maintain and adorn the area. Good for seafood carnival but we prefer respect for everyday life ....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Είναι ένα συμπαθητικό μαγαζάκι, δίπλα στη θάλασσα, με πλαστικά καθίσματα και τραπέζια, κάτω από τα μεγάλα αρμυρίκια. Το χοιρινό σουβλάκι του είναι καταπληκτικό, μαλακό, ζουμερό και καλοψημένο. Από τα καλύτερα που έχω φάει ποτέ. Έχει τα βασικά για να φας, σαλάτα, φέτα, πατάτες και κρασάκι ή μπύρα. Όλα πολύ καλά και σε πολύ καλές τιμές, με μόνο μία παρατήρηση: οι τηγανητές πατάτες είναι προκατ και χαλάνε την πολύ καλή εικόνα. Αν τις κάνει χειροποίητες θα είναι όλα τέλεια σε ένα στέκι που θα πας και θα ξαναπάς.
It is a nice shop next to the sea, with plastic seats and tables, under the big trees. His pork skewer is amazing, soft, juicy and well-baked. One of the best I've ever eaten. It has the basics to eat, salad, slice, potatoes and wine or beer. All very well and at very good prices, with just one observation: fries are pre-cooked and spoil the very good image. If you make them handmade, everything will be perfect in a hangout that you will go and you will come back to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Γίνεται μια πολύ καλή προσπάθεια για να είναι τα γήπεδα σε καθαρή και αξιοπρεπή κατάσταση. Είναι ένα σημείο της πόλης όπου οι εγκαταστάσεις θα μπορούσαν να είναι πολύ καλύτερες και το μέρος να προσφέρει πολλά στους κατοίκους της Χαλκίδας.
A very good effort is made to keep the stadiums in clean and decent condition. It is a point of the city where the facilities could be much better and the place offers a lot to the residents of Chalkida.
