★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I will always remember Teréza. The food is amazing: you will feel like you are in their dining room. It is a perfect spot for lunch when exploring the villages or for after the hike down to the cove. But the family that runs it...they are the kindest and most generous people. My friend and I had just completed the hike down to Livada Cove and back. We arrived and found that the cafe was closing early due to the village celebrating its name-day festival. We were sad to miss out on the food, but very glad to have a post-hike beer. When we ordered our beers, the woman who runs the cafe insisted we also order food to-go and made recommendations to us. They were closing the cafe but still took one more order from us. We had the sausage, the horta, and some patates--and she even included some halva and a small loaf of bread! It was so good. But the story doesn't end there. As we were paying, my friend realized she had lost her small bag (containing her passport, credit cards, everything) during the hike back up. The owner then told us that her father would drive us *back down to the cove* to help us see if the bag was down there. He took us in his car all the way down and back. The bag wasn't there, but we were so grateful for the kindness and generosity of the family. Without us asking, they fed us when they were already closing and they helped us in a moment of need. We did find the bag the next morning on the trail, thankfully. We will always remember the family at Teréza, the good food, and the amazing hospitality they showed us. I wish them only good things in the future. Their kindness meant so much to me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ refreshingly green and shaded spot, friendly and efficient serving, great range of trad and veg dishes including the rarely spotted ladyfingers (okra) just like greek grannies make them. excellent sweet treat of candied quince for complimentary afters. also a functional general store with a range of actually home made jams.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best meals we had on Tinos. Everything was simple, honest, tasty, relying on the quality of the ingredients. The greens/horta we had here was the best I've had in Greece. The family running this place are warm and helpful when ordering. A super meal and a lovely setting!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best meals of my life. Open during the off season, we were here in late November. It’s run by a mother and daughter who are warm and inviting. The daughter speaks English. It’s like having a meal at the home of your friend’s Greek grandma. My only complaint is that they charged too little, but you can rectify that by leaving a big tip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honest home cooking from the sweetest mom and daughter team. Situated in a mountain village, the food was tasty and cooked with love from local ingredients. Some of the dishes we tried:
Spicy cheese
Louza (ham)
Rooster
Broccoli
Meat balls
Artichoke pie
Local greens (watercress?)
They're open even in low season which is nice! We liked it so much we returned twice during our short Tinos visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a delight. Excellent lunch at this friendly place. We had an excellent pastichio, great orka, superb pork in source and more. Felt like being at their home. The taverna is placed in a small grocery store, open kitchen in the back. All locally sourced, every dish has its story. We received at the end of the meal a complimentary house limoncelo (better than most Italians I had before) and some house made jam. Mostly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great spot in picturesque village of Myrsini. Lovely garden setting, very warm and gracious service, and great food! Plus, the mood was complete with very nice Greek music. Will return on my future trips to Tinos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Maria was the friendliest host I’ve come to meet. The food was incredible - garden grown tomatoes with real taste, huge portions and lovely dessert. I almost wish this place could stay a well kept secret.
