THASSOS HORSE CLUB - ΣΚΑΛΑ ΠΡΙΝΟΣ

Perhaps fine for a second-time-in-a-saddle person, but not so for more experienced riders. Groups are not selected by experience, one size fits all. And it gets frustrating to see the water and not really touch it :(

As a horse ride experience for a beginner was great, love it. But the owner of the place is rude. He raised his voice at my husband because is has explaining something about the location of the beach and my husband tried to pin the location on his phone("pay attention to meee and leave the phone!!"). Dude, if you read this, that's the easiest way to go to a point... everywhere in this world! Using your firkin' GPS ? After that, on the beach, my husband needed to effectively run after me and the horse for some photos because the owner didn't want to stop for and had a desagreable attitude. Finally (after I praise him) he stoped for a couple of minutes but he literally was making faces, like a child ? The great part was the riding itself, that's why I give 3 stars. But for me the attitude is the key for everything, so for the experience with the owner, 1 star, mister! If you read this, pay attention to have a complete amazing experience, that include how you speak to people.

Very nice experience, helpful and experienced trainer with good humour :) Definitely recommend it! I am not only not scared of horse riding anymore, but I am thinking of actually starting it!

A friend took 1hr ride together with her son.. everything went good and they returned really happy about it. Bit of a rainy day.. it appears that you cannot take it to a gallop or free ride.. only by the owner's rules.

Wonderfull place, very correct, professional and friendly owner. I can recommend for everybody who loves the horses, see and would like to get an unforgetable experience

An unexpectedly wild experience. I have to admit, at first glance I presumed that it will be a total fail with the host not beeing very welcoming at first, and the way we started led me to think it's going to be a lame vanilla walk on some dirt roads. Turns out in the end that the owner is quite a fun old bean, and the sunset view of the sea from the olive garden is to die for. Swimming with horses is no easy endeavour, but it's quite the experience. Would definitely recommend, but I would also advise not to do the longer tours if you have 0 experience with horses and are generally scared. Also, would recommend long trousers even if it's hot.

Wonderful horseback riding trip! Leonidas (the owner) was very fun and the trail is beautiful. The horses are very well behaved and well taken care of. We had to run out to catch our bus, but thank you for an amazing experience! :)
