★ ★ ★ ★ ★ English bacon and Yorkshire Tea...where would I be in the happiness stakes if I could not conveniently get them at the British Food Shop. The shop's family connection with Βραχασι for me is also a plus. I am a solid Grecophile but there are still a few things a true Englishman still likes to indulge. #britsincrete

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some fantastic foods & drinks from the UK that you cannot buy or eat elsewhere in Crete. So glad we found Richmond sausages, Pukka Pies, Irn Bru, Vimto, Proper fruit pastilles and wine gums, Pot noodles - a comfort food.. Plus so much more! Worth paying abit more here for these things. Really friendly staff, will be using the store regularly!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for first time yesterday after moving here and looking for some "UK Essentials" 50 miles each way but it was worth the trip to be able to find silly items like redcurrant jelly and squash None of which we have been able to find even in Lidl. I would give it a 9.5 stars out of ten. Friendly staff. Will be making this a regular run for British stuff we still have an occasional craving for. As much as we adore Cretan/Greek cuisine, and the amazing weather and people here, there are just some things that cant be replaced!

I wanted to buy a box of tea and didn't have a mask with me and asked the guy inside for the courtesy to give me a mask (value 10 cent?) for shopping and was ready to show him my digital Covid jabs pass. The shop was completely empty. He refused in a very unfriendly way ("why should I give you a mask") and I left. I will for sure never return even if it would be the last Shop on the planet.
