★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my first comment ever, since we enjoyed that restaurant so much I wanted to give it 5 stars. The staff, the location, the prices and the FOOD everything was nice. It doesn’t happen often that all these factors are satisfying. We had fried calamari, goat and a mixed platter. Especially the calamaris were so soft... the goat was smooth and topped with GOOD olive oil and served with delicious potatoes. Even the potatoes were so good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff is very friendly. Food was good. We had the mixed starter platter, grilled sardines, fried calamari and moussaka. All tasted fresh and well made. We enjoyed every dish with a nice view of the beach.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t waste your time looking for another restaurant, the Cellar Tavern is the best you’ll find. It’s absolutely fantastic! The kindest staff ever, great ambience, and wow, the food is the best we had during our 2w stay in Crete. Also so many vegan options, I was amazed! You have to try the Fava and the grilled vegetables, as well as their home made house wine, oil and olives - total dream!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is probably the best traditional Greek restaurant in Kissamos, if not one of the best on the island. I’ve come here so many times. You have the sea right in front of you at your feet. The menu has a lot of Greek food options, great wine list, amazing service and staff, and the view of the sea and mountains is priceless. Amazing for a sunset dinner. Highly recommend it and it’s a place to always visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice restaurant, especially at sunset, but not our favourite in Crete, it's very for tourists, you can feel it and it spoils the atmosphere. But it is nice.
The cretan pie was very good, that is a recommendation. But briam, which is cooked vegetables was certainly not worth its price. At dessert we got some raki, like everywhere.
