Nachdem wir sie 2010 unter einem Schutzdach aus Blech gesehen haben, konnten wir im letzten September das Ergebnis der Restaurierung sehen. Wer alte Kirchen mag, sollte sich dieses sehenswerte Ensemble aus byzantinischer Kirche, venezianischem Glockenturm und 11 hohen Palmen als Wegweiser ansehen. We visit the Panagía Kathóliki from the late 12th century now and then on the way back to the ferry in Patras. After seeing her under a sheet metal canopy in 2010, we were able to see the result of the restoration last September. If you like old churches, you should take a look at this remarkable ensemble of Byzantine church, Venetian bell tower and 11 tall palm trees.
