Best Cooking class in Greece

The chef was no only accommodating to a gluten-free need my husband has, but went out to his way to prepare special adaptations for him. We are both decent cooks and learned a lot in this session. The visit to the market was incredible! Don’t miss this!

We took the cooking class on the last day in Greece as we didn't want to leave without knowing about the wonderful food that we had experienced throughout the trip. Vasia was the best person for that. We learnt to cook 4 dishes and then enjoyed them for lunch in a nice backyard setting. Vasia also shared some family tricks and traditions. The market tour is much recommended as Vasia knows the right places to show and its very authentic. We had a few folks in our group who were new to cooking but even they came out loving the experience . Would love to go back and learn more !
V	Victor Guerrero on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fun! There are different cooking instructors and we had Thanos. He was fun and helped us prepare delicious food. Thanos instructed us step by step while telling us about the local ingredients. Thanos asked us about dietary restrictions, and I thought it was very considerate, as we had vegetarians in our group. It was very hands on, and we felt the food was very authentic and delicious. The trip to the local market was quick (about 10 minutes) and educational. This was important to me, as it differed from other tours where you are walking aimlessly to pre-selected vendors before you get to do anything in the kitchen. At the end our group sat down and ate the food we made all together. My only suggestion would be to let us eat appetizers or snacks in between all the cooking. We did get strawberries before we went to the market, but we were starving after all our cooking. At the end we were very full and satisfied with our meal - we even had left overs that we took with us. Highly recommend.

Made a lovely variety of dishes and even had plenty to take home after we ate. Thank you for this memorable experience, I know my mom will talk about it for a long time.

Thanos the Great ?, mastered the way of passing all these information and experience with fun and humor. We bought all the fresh raw products needed directly in the Central market just next by. ?? The food taste was uniquely delicious, I doubt that you could get this home made taste anywhere outside in restaurants or tavernas. The orange pie and eggplants are just out of this world ??. It's definitely a must if you are in Athens, so do yourself a favor and book the class. It was by far the best meal I and cultural experience I had in Greece. Thank you guys!?
