The Grove Seaside Hotel - Drepanon

Great staff , one of our party of 10 was hospitalised and they helped us soooo much , thank you Grove so very much. Great food , tasty and good variety . Drinks on AI good and able to take across to beach which was great. Lovely location as not many English and mainly locals holiday around here, which keeps it real

We had a very very nice stay here for about 12 days. The people working here are able to speak multiple languages and are very very welcoming and warming and try to help you in any way :) Our room was very comfy, even when it was a standard room and nothing really special. We had a nice view out to the mountains and could also see the sea, which every room can. The room has a little desk, a chair, a nice big bed and a bathroom. The bathroom is big enough for two people. Every room has a balcony which is also big enough for at least 2 or 3 people. The food is very nice!!! Everyone who is complaining is just spoiled brat ;) I have to say that I'm a very very picky eater but I always found something to eat. It is not a huge buffet where you can find 20.000 different meals but you can choose between 5 or more meals and at least 3 salads, which are also very tasty (and I'm more like a carnivore. Plants aren't usually on my feeding plan ;) ). The only thing you can say against is, that the meals are returning after a week but the food were so great that it wasn't bad. The pool was not our thing so we can't write something about it. We were there one time and it was cool (the temp) but not that many sunbeds around. The sunbeds you are looking for are right on the beach. The beach and the water is fantastic. Also the beach is very clean! The beach is with small pebbles which doesn't hurt in any way. No need for swimming- oder surfingshoes! We needed them only one time were the ocean were really rough and you couldn't see the ground and there were big pebbles. Otherwise great! For everyone who want to go to nafplio: Go by bus from drepano! It's worth the travel and only costs 1.80 per person :) We wanted to say thanks to all the people working there (like Costas from the Bar, Kostas from the restaurant, Radek from the Lobby and everyone else!! You made our stay really really great!!)

Lovely quiet location, near Tolo, Peloponnese, 4 stars Hotel, with half board, very clean, very good food, nice wiew from the balcony of the Egeean sea, with pool and garden, private beach with sun chairs and umbrellas! We loved it and hope to come back some time soon! ?

rude server at the pool. only one key which operates the power and AC so it gets very hot while at the pool or beach and then takes time to cool down. bar outside was understocked.

The hotel is already undergoing a restoration on all grounds and the rooms have been renovated. The hotel offers modern amenities and the staff is very friendly. The location is by the sea and the most famous beaches of the region are close by. The breakfast is overall full of choices.

We were on 1st floor, rooms are renovated and modernized. The breakfast is of high quality and wide variety, whereas the service is top notch. The pool is OK, but the sea is a much better option. The location is great! Food and drink prices are reasonable. Last but not least, available activities include tennis (racquets are obtained at the reception), table tennis (same procedure), basketball, volleyball and playground for children. The hotel is organized well in every aspect.

We have had the chance to stay at the hotel for more days and change our opinion about the staff. Most of the pool staff are really polite, helpful, and good at their job. It was unfortunate that the first people we encountered happened to not be such good professionals. We want to be fair with our review so we felt that we need to post this additional comment and clarify that most of the staff around the pool are excellent professionals and provide exceptional service

Excellent room next to a beautiful, fish full sea... crystal clear water. The staff, especially Athanasia, were awesome. And. they gave me a little gift when i left... highly recommend
