★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best place in Rethymno to have Macedonian bougatsa. It is made with filo pastry and can be sweet (filled with custard cream) or savoury (filled with cheese, spinach or minced meat). The place is a take away. Except from bougatsa it sells various other pies, Thessalonian koulouri and coffee. The prices are normal and the place is certainly recommended.
