★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a lovely afternoon at the old water mill .
We where given a tour of the working mill by the staff.
It was really interesting.
Here are some of the facts we found out.
The old water mill was built and operated before 1850.
It is the 10th watermill of a series of mills that operated with the same water. Gradually the mills were abandoned , except the "Old watermill", that worked until 1974
In the past, access to the area was difficult and was only by horse. For this reason, the watermill was chosen as the headquarters of the resistance against the occupation 1941-1944 and EAM rebels after liberation.
The gardens where kept beautifully making them a restful calming place to sit and relax and escape the hot afternoon sun.
We had some traditional homemade food with a refreshing glass of lemonade made fresh by the staff.
Well worth a visit a little on the pricey side but it truly was scrummy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly and quick service. We sit for breakfast at the garden of the old but still functional water mill. The air was cool even it was a hot summer day. We tried freddo espresso, tiganopsomo, cheese pie and lemon pie. The freddo espresso would be characterized as watery, tiganopsomo was really nice no oily taste and cranchy, cheese pie was ok and the lemon pie had a very nice texture and well syropized but there was almost no taste of lemon. I would like to have more taste of lemon. It is a nice place to relax and take break fast or drink coffee. The garden area is really big and the tables are well spaced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A gem in the most unexpected place. I am very happy that we discovered this place. Very friendly owners and a wonderful scenery where you can enjoy your breakfast in the nature. In the ground floor there is a recreation of the watermill that existed in the building along with a shop with home made products.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must visit place if you are in the area, 5 min. from the castle of Kyprrissia.
Besides the historic interest, it is very picturesque, the service is very friendly, there is a great variety of coffee drinks, fresh orange and lemon juices, sweets etc and there is a small shop with local goodies,
