β β β β β This is a hidden gem and was recommended by the owner of where I was staying. It is very traditional and the owners work and serve you. The lady is from England and her husband is Greek. They are so friendly and the food is traditional and very good. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and would definitely recommend it x

β β β β β Our favourite restaurant in Tsilivi. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly. I had the lamb shank which is some of the best food I have eaten. Would definitely recommend it. My partner has a steak which he said is one of the best steaks heβs had. We will be returning!

Service was a little slow but nothing major.
We ordered the feta cheese and halloumi start which were great, however you cant really mess it up..
My partner ordered the beef special and I had the pork belly.
Pork belly was good, however came with deep fried potatoes which were not so good.
My partner had the beef special which was bland.
Supposed to have come with fresh vegetables, but there were frozen carrots and peas, beef was chewy and untasty, with the deep fried potatoes as well.
Overall dissatisfied with the meal, basically like pub food.

β β β β β What can i say the food was that good i brought their cookbook! The spicy shin of beef had so many layers of spice it was a taste sensation! Owners, chef and staff have a genuine passion for their restaurant, produce and the local area. Bloody superb ?

β β β β β We were attracted by the small menu as many places in Tsilivi are overwhelming. We ordered the Chicken Zante and the Chicken dream. The waiter didn't know what he was doing as he gave us the wrong food and didn't really seem bothered about it. The chicken Zante was supposed to be served with mash potatoes but came with runny instant mash that was bland and very unappealing. The plate that was severed me resembled a plate of sick. My partner had the Chicken dream which was supposed to be honey and mustard but was clearly out of a bottle. The Chicken wasn't cooked in the sauce and tasteless in both dishes. Very disappointing

β β β β β We dined at The Olive Tree on our fourth evening at Tsilivi and it was without doubt the best meal we have had so far. We'll definitely go back before the end of our stay. We cleared every plate and gave our compliments to the chef. The head waiter ran around all evening taking care to see to every table and although they are short staffed (like almost every place this season) with new waiters about to start, they handled the busy evening well and still managed to give a personal service.
