★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The menu does not adequately describe the full extent of the wonderful dishes served here. For example, what the menu describes as “Pouched eggs and avocado” is beautifully presented as perfectly done eggs on homemade bread with an olive spread, a bed of greens and a touch of ham. Delectable! The “Ham, tomato and Edam cheese” omelet was cooked to perfection and served with a small portion of greens and cherry tomatoes on the side and two slices of homemade wheat bread. The cappuccinos were excellent. We have been to Meganisi on our Pacific Seacraft 31 many times over the past two years and never thought of this small restaurant as a place for breakfast. Rest assured, we do now!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Consistently good. Elizabeth is passionate about her taverna, and the food, location and ambience are second to none. Absolutely well worth a visit. Worth every cent of the 5Euros we had to pay to berth our small boat!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommended cafe on Meganisi island. We were here for the delicious pastry: chocolate cake, brownies, cheesecake and much more. Unique atmosphere and fantastic views, combined with great service. A highlight of our holiday!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After weeks of zucchini balls and greek salad, we were looking for something different. And Pistrina delivers! Everything tasted fresh, modern and tasty! With a variety of offerings, not to mention vegan options. We had the vegan burger, beef burger, salmon with mango glaze, quinoa salad, watermelon salad, black bean salad, and apple pie, brownies, chocolate soufflé, lemon pie and variety of ice cream. All were great but my fav was the salmon and watermelon salad, finished with the apple pie and french vanilla ice cream. The chef, staff and owner are all super friendly and lovely people. Highly recommended and will definitely come back again.
