★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abre de 9 a 14, únicamente entre semana. La casa neoclásica es de 1887 y originalmente fue una escuela de niñas. En 1951 la biblioteca fue fundada por el sindicato progresista "O Palamidis", que trabajaba por la ilustración en Nauplia.
La entrada a la biblioteca está decorada con bustos de dos importantes poetas nauplianos, Antonis Lekopoulos, más conocido por el seudónimo de "Anapliotis", y Theodoros Kostouros.
Tiene más de 70.000 libros; un registro de extractos de periódicos, algunos contemporáneos, otros más antiguos; cartas; así como pinturas históricas en las paredes.
Hay una selección de colecciones especiales, derivadas de organizaciones benéficas, como la de la familia Aggelos Terzakis, que ha donado parte de su biblioteca privada. Una de estas colecciones es el segmento de la Biblioteca dedicado a "la primera escuela secundaria en Grecia", que comprende libros preciosos, libros de estilo antiguo, libros de los Tutores de la nación griega y ediciones raras de los S.XVIII y XIX. El libro más antiguo de la biblioteca data de 1504
Open from 9 to 14, only on weekdays. The neoclassical house is from 1887 and was originally a girls' school. In 1951 the library was founded by the progressive union "O Palamidis", which worked for illustration in Nafplio.
The entrance to the library is decorated with busts of two important Nauplian poets, Antonis Lekopoulos, better known by the pseudonym "Anapliotis", and Theodoros Kostouros.
It has more than 70,000 books; a record of newspaper excerpts, some contemporary, some older; letters; as well as historical paintings on the walls.
There is a selection of special collections, derived from charities, such as that of the Aggelos Terzakis family, who have donated part of their private library. One of these collections is the segment of the Library dedicated to "the first secondary school in Greece", comprising precious books, old style books, books of the Tutors of the Greek nation, and rare editions from the 18th and 19th centuries. The oldest book in the library dates from 1504
