The saganaki was not good. It tasted like fried fish.
Meatballs, greek salad, baked feta and the potato salad were good though. The portions were large and the prices reasonable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little Mezedopolio at the port of Neapolis. The very sweet and friendly waitress served us the Naftis salad, Tigania, grilled octopus and 2 tsouporo. Huge portions and very very tasty. The bill was only 22 euros so very cheap. Naftis was full of locals eating, old photos on the walls and had a very nice atmosphere. There are not so many places like this left in Greece so DO visit this little gem.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited the place yesterday June 3/2022, since it was recommended from the staff in Kastania Caves. And not so many others open for lunch.
First: the place looks really traditional, simple ( even if opened in 2016),nicely decorated and friendly.
The young girl brought immediately water for free and a snack ( hard bread with cheese dip, couple of olives).
We ordered a pork tigania ( very tasty) huge portion, a small dish of octopus really tender and a Naftis salad, was potatoes with chopped onions, mini olives, tomatoes, some greens.
All this with two glasses of tsipouro ( raki) and a lot of grilled bread for 26 euros with receipt.
At the end, on the house, four bites of loukoumia.
I highly recommend for smiling service, fair prices, spotless tables, old looking style.
And as you can see in the photos, many local old people are sitting. THIS REALLY MEANS SOMETHING.
And after Kythira we will for sure stop by again.
