About The Underdog

As you all probably know this is not our first business in coffee industry. Although we roast specialty coffee from 2011, this is a new project for us and this still puts us as The Underdog of coffee scene in Greece.

The Underdog never gives up and fights every day no matter what in order to be better.

That’s why The Underdog is covered with injuries and has a bottled leg (that he lost in a previous fight defending his pride back in the old days).

A	Ahmad Gilani on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice spot! Location is great and place is very cool! Also the artwork. Service was super, and the food was very nice also! The eggs Benedict had a bit too vinegary hollandaise though. The Madame croquet was fantastic. The coffee was great as well! I got an almond milk cappuccino and it was satisfactory. If you are used to Berlin third wave coffee places this would be the next best thing in Athens. Also, the brioche buns were so soft and cushiony!

The flat white I ordered was not only expensive but the worst I've had in Athens. The espresso was under-extracted, the taste of the milk was too dominant and the latte art embarrassing. The americano was watery and not well extracted. Food not worthy of mention neither: poor taste and presentation, micro portions. No gluten and lactose free options available. T	Tim M (Tim M) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Totally awesome place with very nice staff. I wanted to stay longer, and get lunch. However the internet service kept cutting in and out and I had to meet a deadline. Hence is why four stars. If they had more reliable internet I would totally give it five stars.

My favourite are the eggs Benedict with bacon! Nom nom! Pricing is relatively good (probably 1-3€ more than other similar places ) Service is great, very kind and helpful! And last I would recommend to reserve a table as it's usually quite full Enjoy!

Service is quite slow & the savoury brunch food wasn't great - we each tried the chicken burger, eggs Benedict and eggs with avocado, and none of them were really enjoyed. Keep it simple and come here for a drink & something sweet or pastry.
V	Vivian Tang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very cozy brunch place, they have a backyard where you can eat. The portion size of the fried chicken toast is really large. The fries were ok, could be more crispy and flavoured. I recommend the cold brew and the sourdough cinnamon bun!

The food was also good and tasty. The whole interior design was relaxing and people working here are super friendly and nice. Would recommend this place to anyone that likes brunches.
