We stayed at the White House in Athens
What seem to be an amazing home accommodating 11 of us and great location.
BUT that night I got severely Bad Bed Bugs !!
Still a month after our journey the marks on my legs and the itch will not stop. A local pharmacist and My Internist Dr in the US, can only describe it as “Super Duper-Super Duper-Super Duper bad bed bugs ”after prescription, Dr visits and visits to the pharmacy !!!
4 of us had to relocate in the main living room on the sofa very inconvenient to us and the rest of the group!
Not to mention when I got home my entire suitcase had to be cleaned disinfectant and my entire wardrobe as well !!!
I only hope this problem is corrected and no child or any one should go on Vacation and experience the worst kind of Bed Bugs there is!
And since a simple Apology did not return my days of Adventure and my once a year Vacations and the inconvenience I caused the rest of my group I decided to write a review !
I hope if you do plan to book it, Please Verify the reviews.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has been a fantastic experience staying in this historical build. Spacious bedrooms and loads of living space. Views to the acropolis and excellent hospitality. There was a strike in athens and the minivan could not reach close and we walked a bit but really this was an oasis within athens... coming back for grannies 70th birthday for sure..

Extremely welcoming staff .Sparkling clean rooms and clean surroundings.
It’s worth every penny spent.
A six star ⭐️ would have been more ideal.

As a filmmaker that travels the world looking for property to film & to host my cast during filming this is truly one of the premier residences in Old Athens. From the leisurely, “on-the-go explorer/traveler” to the business traveler who wants a no-fuss luxury property in a prime location, the White House in Plaka is the place to call home in Athens. Kudos to the management and design team for offering such a stunning rental at an affordable price point. Thank you- I hope to be back sooner than later!

It's Central Location, Luxurious Esthetics and Ample Space made our visit to Athens Perfect!
It is a stones throw or short walk away from Shopping, Restaurants, Post Office, Public Transportation, Night Life and The Acropolis.
