★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a beautiful theater in the centre of Syros. Really loved the place. Also the people working there where super nice and helpful and they seem to enjoy and love their job. We did a music video shooting there, and it was such a great experience. If you find your way to the extraordinary island is Syros, make a favor to yourself and visit this theater no matter what gig is performing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can feel the history before you eve step inside. Once you do, it seems as if you’ve traveled back in time. Very beautiful, well reserved with respect to its unique character. If you’re lucky enough to visit Syros you absolutely must see the Apollo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is absolutely astonishing what the Apollon Theater, the oldest Opera House in Greece ( since 1864) offers in performance, beauty , acoustics and history.
The recent Madame Butterfly was of international quality and the Festival of the Aegean is rightfully called the Salzburg of the Aegean.
For visitors helpful staff knows all about programming, history and stories surrounding this mythic place.
The theater has been constructed
Based on the plans of the Scala in
Milan and is also called the Little Scala.
Performances all year but if you can make it, take a week off for the International Festival of the Aegean in July!
