The apart-hotel is situated in an ideal quiet location. It boasts off stunning views of a turquoise sea from every room. It is a great place to base from either to explore treasures of Messenia or just have a quality time on a beautiful beach just steps away from the hotel. The rooms are very spacious (much bigger than I expected for a solo traveler). The place is simple and extremely clean, equipped with anything you may need for your comfortable stay, cozy beds, beautiful views. Wifi was excellent (it was essential for me). A bus stop and a couple of restaurants are just 5 mins walk and a mini market is 10 mins bicycle ride from the location. A bicycle is available on premises. The highlight of the whole stay was the hosts Theodora, Giannis and their two sons. They are genuinely warm and caring people who showed me so much kindness, exceptional hospitality and all advise I needed to make the most of my stay. I had a great experience staying with this family! Strongly recommend to other travelers. Thank you very much!

We had a wonderful stay at Theodora Apartments! First of all I want to point out that Theodora is a very helpful and friendly person who does everything to make you feel welcome/home. We stayed here for one week and were planning to continue our trip to Mati which was not possible due to the forest fires. We asked Theodora if it was possible to stay for one night extra which was not possible since had no vacancy for another night. But Theodora helped us to find a nice little room for an extra night in Akrogiali. This "extra service" is just a small example on how she treats her guests. Theodora is always there to give you ideas for trips in the area, shopping oportunities or restaurants. Now to the Apartments itself: the Apartment we had was very clean and perfect for a couple. It has a small kichen, a big fridge, big balcony with a nice view over the bay and is air conditioned. The bathroom and the furniture is simple but in good conditon. You can park your car right in front of the house. The sea was super clean and the beach is only 5 minutes away (by foot). Do not expect crowded beaches with lots of tourists and noisy animation program. In fact we've sometimes had the beach for ourselfs which gave us the chance to relax perfectly. If you don't want (or can't) cook by yourself, you find 3 restaurants and a gyros take away in walking distance. One restaurant is a traditional tavern with nice greek dishes, one restaurant is more gourmet-style but also excellent and there is also an italian restaurant. Long story short: if you need some time off in a relaxing and calm area: this is the place you've been looking for.

Our journey began at Theodora apartments. It is a local and very enchanting area, but what makes it more special besides the peaceful beaches around, the sea views from the balcony and the small village itself, is Theodora. She is so welcoming and very nice host, we felt like in a holiday home. Before leaving we already decided to come back next year. It's 100% recommended and a magical place. Theodora Apartments are quiet, spotlessly clean and comfortable with great sea views from the balconies. Within 15 minutes walk are some great tavernas where we ate excellent seafood. If you are looking for somewhere to stay that's fairly close to the airport in Kalamata but outside of the city, perhaps for a couple of nights, this is perfect. Also, we found Theodora herself to be a very charming, funny and interesting lady.
