★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These folks were great all around, from making the appointment to returning the boat. Very friendly and seemed genuinely concerned to make sure we had a good experience. The boats are gps tracked and have an auxiliary small engine. I would have rated them 5 except for the following tips we pass along.
The marina is a decent boat ride to the caldera. They tell you to have a plan so you are not wasting time.... very important. The half day rental will not get you far, go for the full day. Even by having a plan and going from place to place, you will most likely end up using all your fuel. We ran out just as we were pulling into the marina and put the 5 liters of reserve into the tank.
If there is any wind, the ride will be choppy and you don’t want this to be the first time you’ve driven a boat. It was a tiring ride back. Again, you need to have some boat handling experience to handle the variety of anchoring/ tying up, etc
