Η ανάδειξη του χώρου ακόμη να γίνει...και έχουν περάσει πολλά χρόνια από τότε που έφυγε και ο τελευταίος αρχαιολόγος!..Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα!!! A unique combination of tombs and history in the most remote village of Greece ... a tour by Mr. Costas unrepeatable ... as if we were in the 2nd century AD! The promotion of the site is yet to be done ... and many years have passed since the last archaeologist left! .. I highly recommend it !!!
M	Modern Odyssey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ένας απο τους πιο ενδιαφέροντες αρχαιολογικούς χώρους με σπάνια ευρήματα στην πιο άθλια κατάσταση. Είναι πραγματικά κρίμα να έχει εγκαταληφθεί έτσι ο χώρος και οι ανασκαφές. Να είναι καλά ο ευγενικός φύλακας και ξεναγός που μας κατατόπισε. Νάιλον κατασκευές σαν θερμοκήπια "προστατεύουν" τις ανακαλύψεις και παίρνεις φωτιά μέχρι να τα δείς. Και σε ένα χώρο που δέχεται χιλιάδες επισκέπτες. Στην Βουλγαρία έχουν βρεθεί παρόμοια οστά και έχουν τον χώρο πλήρως αξιοποιημένο. Λίγα χιλιόμετρα δυτικά εντός του βουλγαρικού εδάφους, υπάρχει μια ρωμαϊκή βίλλα πλήρως αξιοποιημένη και ίσως μπορούμε να κάνουμε μια σύνδεση με αυτόν τον τόπο μίας και μπορεί οι άρχοντες που ζούσαν εκεί, να επέλεξαν αυτόν τον λόφο εδώ ως μέρος ταφής. One of the most interesting archeological sites with rare finds in the most miserable condition. It is a real pity that the site and the excavations have been abandoned like this. May the kind guard and guide who guided us be well. Nylon constructions like greenhouses "protect" the discoveries and you catch fire until you see them. And in a place that receives thousands of visitors. Similar bones have been found in Bulgaria and the site has been fully utilized. A few kilometers west inside the Bulgarian territory, there is a Roman villa fully utilized and maybe we can make a connection with this place since the lords who lived there, may have chosen this hill here as a burial place.
G	George D on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Σύμφωνα με την Βικιπαίδεια, τον 2ο αιώνα στο τύμβο τάφηκαν τέσσερα μέλη μιας πλούσιας οικογένειας γαιοκτημόνων (τριών ανδρών και μιας γυναίκας) μαζί με τις άμαξες και τα άλογά τους. Στις ανασκαφές έχουν βρεθεί οι άμαξες και τα οστά των αλόγων. Στον τύμβο βρέθηκαν και τα υπολείμματα της καύσης των τεσσάρων ατόμων. Ο Τύμβος έχει διάμετρο 60μ και έχει ύψος 7,5μ. Η αρχαιολογική έρευνα έχει δείξει ότι στην Βόρεια Θράκη (την Ρωμαϊκή εποχή) οι οικογένειες πλούσιων γαιοκτημόνων επέλεγαν την ταφή τους σε τύμβους γύρω από τα κτήματά τους. Το μόνο αρνητικό είναι ότι δεν υπάρχει πραγματικό μουσείο αλλά βρίσκονται μέσα σε ένα προσωρινό κατάλυμα προστασίας από νάιλον και σανίδες. According to Wikipedia, in the 2nd century, four members of a wealthy family of landowners (three men and a woman) were buried in the mound along with their carriages and horses. The carriages and the bones of the horses have been found in the excavations. The remains of the burning of the four people were also found in the mound. The Tomb has a diameter of 60m and a height of 7.5m. Archaeological research has shown that in Northern Thrace (Roman times) the families of wealthy landowners chose to bury themselves in mounds around their estates. The only downside is that there is no real museum but they are inside a temporary shelter of nylon and boards.
P	Pan Daphnes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Πολύ ενδιαφέρουσα επίσκεψη, αξίζει τον κόπο να σπάει κανείς αν βρίσκεται κοντά. Βέβαια όπως είναι ο χώρος θέλει πολύ φαντασία από κάποιον μή γνώστη. Θα χρειαστεί πολύ δουλειά για να μπορέσει ο χώρος να αναδείξει με τρόπο κατανοητό την σημαντικότητά του. Ο φύλακας ευγενέστατος και πολύ διαθέσιμος να εξηγήσει.
