The purchase was for a private house (private) but we are of the wider construction site and specifically the engineer of this building is my father with whom the communication and order was made, always in my presence. • We went (physical presence) to the TIMBERSA store from where in consultation with the competent seller we asked for an exit window of dimensions 66 * 78. The order was handwritten in the seller's personal notebook, the price was given to us orally. We made an advance payment and left. • We went to pick up, they were looking to find the product or even the order (in the handwritten notes between the sellers) they found the seller's note which wrote dimension 66 * 98. • Naturally informs me that my order is for 66 * 98 and to bring the car to be loaded. • I explain that we never discussed 66 * 98: For reasons of statics and position, the dimension that fits in our case is only 66 * 78 and the corresponding hole in the concrete (roof) was opened before our order. We could not be confused with another dimension because we never looked at another dimension • The answer I got was that it is impossible for them to make a mistake as 66 * 78 does not exist !! • After a short search on the internet, the seller was convinced that there is a dimension but .. when we ordered it in October there was no 66 * 78 !! (apparently .. we have divination skills !!) For apologies or reasons, the closest thing to this man's apology was that even if he had made a mistake, we are still to blame since we were in front when he wrote it and let's see it! (I remind you in his notebook, not in something we could see !!). The salesman who did not even know the existence of the dimension listening to the dimension we gave him, obviously noted what he knew without confirming it with us. In any case, this could have been avoided if the store did not operate with handwritten notes in notebooks in the years 2021 without giving confirmation of the order to the customer. I admit our mistake that we did not find out earlier that they did not send an offer or the order but you understand I imagine that it is not the customer's job. We agreed to proceed with a new order of the correct dimension. and how much does the smaller 66 * 78 cost? But of course the same !! At first because the prices changed, then he told us that "I do not know what discount I made you then but with the current invoice I can only do so much". I protested and asked to speak to the person in charge, who according to the seller, would call me back within the day. I only received one phone call from a seller the same day that the person in charge has not arrived yet but he will pick me up when he arrives. And along with "style" he informed me that he looked at the list of FAKRO and it is the same since July (so there was a window and the price has not changed!). He mentioned this to me as proof that he is rightly asking me for the same money for the 66 × 78 with the 66x98 !!! (comments are yours). I thanked him because with what he told me, he strengthens our position and I stopped the discussion because I now realized that there is no communication. Now if there is only one seller who spoils the name of the company I do not know, I had talked to another seller about another product and I received a written offer and the service was good. In addition to the window we had ended up buying 200+ sqm of wooden floors from them, wooden stairs and other buildings followed in the future. We are not going to approach again. For the record, I will mention that in parallel with the above, I called the dealer again to request a phone call from another partner in Athens, where the new order for the right window was made immediately, 120 euros cheaper (same benefits, with VAT). I would suggest you if you decide to work with them not to make the mistake we made to trust them, ask for everything in writing.
