★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and i visit a good number of breweries and we have taken a lot tours, but this one is truly unique. No other US brewery can boast the history of Anchor. And the tour takes full advantage of all of it. Currently, all the beer made for distribution is made in this location. There doesn't appear to be that much from the exterior but they are at least four floors and a basement so there's a lot more here than you'd think.
The history is great; the brewing equipment is old and amazing (no computers here!); and our guide, Steven knew the answers to every question. AND the tasting at the end is pretty darn great, too.
This such a cool and different place, I recommend it for every beer lover.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place with great atmosphere and a small garden that was well kept. Prices are not cheap but sure are reasonable. It has hookahs but since it's so open they shouldn't be a problem even if that bothers you. The staff that served us wasn't that great but maybe they were tired.
