Although this is a low budget hotel, its location is perfect both for Chania Town and the old town and harbour. It does comes with basic facilities but, any problems, Nikos is always on hand to resolve and provide local information for you to enjoy your stay.

Good service by front desk. I paid for 3 nights via a website and the hotel received the confirmation 2 or 3 days later. This is a budget hotel but it fit my needs. Room has a bed, closet, toilet and shower, towels, refrigerator, aircon/heater, sink, hot water and an extra blanket for the bed. Front desk went out of their way to ensure that my stay went well. It is located on a quiet side street and it is about a 10 minute walk to the harbor. There are plenty of coffee shops and bakeries within 5 minutes of the hotel. I would stay here again. A reasonable location close to the covered market and municipal gardens, but the hotel is very basic with no charm and devoid of anything beyond the bare minimum. The AC worked and the balcony was handy and the room and bathroom was reasonably clean (not spotless). But it lacked a TV and the mattresses were old and not very comfortable. acceptable if you are on a budget.

Good and cheap place to stay for 1-2 nights. Good location, walking distance from the center. Decoration is a bit old, but it's ok if you just want a place to sleep.

The owners are the best hosts I’ve ever encountered, Nikos and his brother, very kind and pleasant people. They went above and beyond for me and my family. It maybe a 1 star hotel but you’ll be treated as 5 star guests. I recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Chania Crete you won’t regret it. I’ll most definitely stay here again.

This place was horrible, a complete nightmare. The room was filthy, the towels smelling like cigarette, no hot water, the fridge was off. When we tried to talk at the reception about these problems the man staring to shout at us (two women). We felt really unsafe and had to leave and find another place for the night. This place doesn't even deserve a single star, in fact, it should completely close. Worst experience ever.

I found the hotel was standard for one ⭐️ The owners Nicks and Yannis were very helpful and friendly. Clean bed s and towel s. Very helpful guys. Near market and port lots of lovely walks around old town. I was on my own staying here and was looked after very well. Ok it’s not the Ritz. But neither is the price. I felt safe on my own walking at night. ???‍?

All in all - nope. I get it - it’s supposed to be cheap, less cheerful. But it could be way cleaner. Entire hotel has a strong, musty odour, bed sheets and towels are not the freshest in the drawer and the bathrooms are quite disgusting to be honest - everything is covered in limestone and very rusty. The owner praises Polish tourists, that they are much less picky than French or German ones, who mostly complain. Well, not this one I guess :) And to be frank, I sympathize with them completely - as cheap and basic should not mean untidy and neglected.
