★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place should have a five star review because it’s some of the most tasty authentic homemade Greek food I have had so far! It has been serving the neighborhood since back when the area was the textile district and is family owned by two sisters who run the whole show.
I highly recommend eating here if you are looking for no frills good quality food!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the greatest dinner I had during my entire stay in Greece and probably the entire year. Very nice quiet street and great family-run cafe. It is also cheap compared to tourist-oriented restaurants around in the area. Absolutely must visit. Very friendly and tasty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was our first dinner in Athens, and we couldn't stop eating! Extremely good starter plates..you must not miss the potato salad, the mixed lentils fava, spicy cheese dip, grape leaves. We were in Athens for seven consecutive nights and the food in many other Greek restaurants, although very good, couldn't come close to this place. The place is run by two women, who are really kind and we understood each other very well even if they didn't speak much English. Highly recommended!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best greek food we had in our entire vacation. This place is run completely by two lovely older ladies. Try going there at a time when it is less frequented, or you might have to wait longer for your food.
