★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great shop with a large selection. The man behind the counter was very nice, commented on my good taste in books, asked where I was from and talked about how it compares to Chania, and he asked if I needed a bag and gave me one. Very nice experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to love this store but the lady is extremely rude. She slammed the door in my face this morning at 10am when they should be open from 9am onwards. She said there was “a big problem”. So I will be empathetic but still slamming the door and sending me away as if I was a beggar is not justifiable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great choice of books that’s true, but make sure to avoid moving the books or asking the saleswoman anything. She’s snappish and treats her customers with contempt. I entered the store with an intent to fill my backpack with the books, but in the end left without any. A hint for other-then-Greek speakers: do a search on google maps for βιβλιοπωλείο to see more bookstores around, there are plenty of them in Chania.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful bookstore. I stumbled across the store in my wandering through Chania. I was looking specifically for Greek children’s stories in English, so I can only speak to that selection. There was a lot to pick from and this shop delivered. I got two books I’m sure the little one will love.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As soon as I entered the store the man working there already greeted us in an unpleasant manner it made me have a dislike for the store and I would of left if I wasn’t in need of a book . As I was going to pay he then instead of serving me went and reorganised all the books In the area I had been previously looking at , he showed large disrespect and I do not recommend this store when such a rood man is working there .
