A	Alexandra Stara on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a truly fantastic place that puts to shame other more pretentious ‘fine dining’ restaurants on Tinos with its stunning cuisine, dreamy setting and just wonderful people! This is not your bog standard seafront taverna, so don’t expect cheap eats - but prices are really very reasonable for what you get. The menu is ambitious and imaginative, executed to perfection, with emphasis on freshness of ingredients and precision of flavours, not gratuitous innovation. The portions are generous. The wine list is not large but excellent, with some real gems we didn’t find anywhere else. The service is flawless - confident, competent and unobtrusive. And you are sitting level with the sea, having to lift your feet occasionally if big waves crash from the odd ship passing, listening to wonderfully discrete & low-volume lounge music, with equally well-calibrated lighting. Simply perfection.

Setting is directly on the water and beautiful. We started with the baked greens, chickpeas and anchovies. They were all incredible. Next we had aubergine with rice, red mullet fish of the day and clams. All were fabulous.

We tried many different dishes most of which were precooked and reheated. They looked decent but there was no taste at all. On the top of this we ordered fish which was grilled on inside too so that it could be served as quickly as possible. Absolutely a no go. Maybe they had good quality in the past but probably like most restaurants they became famous and sacrificed quality so that they can rotate the tables for new customers as quickly as possible.

The setting is spectacular, right on the dock with the water washing you feet when there are some big waves crushing. The quality of the products is the best and the combination of flavors on the plates extraordinary, especially the herbs from their own garden. Splendid service.
