R	Ruby de Witte on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the outside it doesn't look as special as many other restaurants you will find in Athens, but as soon as you enter you will get greeted by the nicest people, and served the best Greek food for an amazing price! We had a great evening here!

We got recommend to this place by a local friend who visited it a few years ago, but what we had was very different from his description. The pastrami pie smells fishy and is too salty and burnt, and the grilled meatballs came with no red sauce despite being on the menu (and when we asked for it, they served only ketchup!). The fries were also very oily and softened, as if they were frozen for too long. The only thing good was the grilled squid. But considering that the three small portion dishes caused 23 euros, this is definitely not where you would want to spend ur dinner time at.

I might not be the greatest connoisseur of wine, but for my tastes - white wine here was the best I had. Ever. The top1. We still have some more days we'll spend in Athens and we're already planning our next meal here. 100/100.

The service today was a bit disoriented due to big work load but they certainly did their best. I would prefer calamari on the menu instead of thrapsalo.
K	Karitas Mitrogogos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This tavern style restaurant, the "Rose of Deliciousness" that opened in 1995 is located inside an arcade on Lekka Street #22 ... only about a five minute walk from Syntagma Square . I first visited it many years ago when its ambiance & menu were a bit more humble... but as today, considered by the locals as a hidden treasure you share with good friends .... ?? .... and a place where you enjoy tasty home style Greek food made with high quality locally sourced ingredients and really fresh reasonably priced seafood! ??? The menu includes lots of traditional salads & starters like the delish fava & zucchini fritters(see photos) .... seafood served grilled, baked, fried or boiled ... as well as yummy fried meatballs & grilled beef patties (see photo) with fries. ??? The prices are very reasonable and the service prompt and courteous.??

Food was delicious & service was so good, mind you there was only one waitress & she was smashing service. The only disappointment was the octopus, a very chewy dish & over charred. All of that food plus few cold drinks, bill came up to €44 (+tips).
