It really is one of the most attractive and well situated toll stations you will come across in the Athens area, positioned in woodland between the country's single nuclear research station and the Animal Disease Centre of the Dept of Agriculture.
For a flat rate of just under 3 euros paid to courteous employees you are given the privilege of driving on the city's only ring road.
Frankly, this is a ripoff like all tolls on Greek roads.
