★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I just loved getting to see the tower and to know that the Venetian tower of Marcellus (17th century), located inside the old town is easy to get to. Actually, you don't have to walk much from the harbor to get there. Aegina also has another treat: it is the land of pistachio! Oh, my eternal goodness! I had fresh homemade pistachio ice cream that I will never forget.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An old tower, a few minutes walk from Aegina port, worth a look. Unfortunately you cant go inside. It made me think of what else was around here at the time of its construction. Peaceful surroundings.
