★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Στο εν λόγω ακίνητο ήταν κατά τη Βενετοκρατία το Palazzo del Capitan Grande, δηλαδή το μέγαρο του Αρχιναυάρχου. Από αυτό δεν σώθηκε τίποτε.
Στη θέση του έκτισαν οι Τούρκοι το κτήριο που σώζεται και σήμερα και το χρησιμοποιούσαν σαν μεϊτέπι (σχολείο). Στο ανατολικό τμήμα του στεγάστηκε μια κλινική και στο δυτικό μια αποθήκη. Στη δεκαετία του 1930, τμήμα του φαίνεται να είχε φιλοξενήσει και ελληνικό δημοτικό σχολείο.
 During the Venetian occupation, the Palazzo del Capitan Grande was the property of the Archbishop. Nothing was saved from that.
In its place, the Turks built the surviving building today and used it as a meitepi (school). A clinic was housed in its eastern part and a warehouse in the western part. In the 1930s, part of it seems to have hosted a Greek primary school.
