H τράπεζα χρόνου λειτουργεί στα πλαίσια του προγράμματος « Κοινωνικές Δομές Αντιμετώπισης της Φτώχειας στο Δήμο Λαρισαίων» και αποτελεί μια σύμπραξη που αποτελείται από τον Δήμο Λαρισαίων, την Εθελοντική Ανθρωπιστική Δράση «ΑΝΘΡΩΠΟΜΑΝΙΑ» και το Κέντρο Έρευνας και Ανάπτυξης «ΘΕΣΙΣ». Η τράπεζα χρόνου λειτουργώντας με πλήρη διαφάνεια και οργάνωση, στοχεύει μέσω της δημιουργίας ενός δικτύου συναλλαγής υπηρεσιών και προϊόντων, να συμβάλλει στην καταπολέμηση της φτώχειας και των δυσκολιών που αντιμετωπίζουν ακόμα και μέχρι πρότινος υγιείς οικονομικά ομάδες πληθυσμού, αποδεσμευμένου από την αποκλειστική χρήση του χρήματος. Χρησιμοποιώντας την ιστοσελίδα μας οι πολίτες που έχουν ανάγκη κυρίως άστεγοι, άνεργοι και ευπαθείς κοινωνικά ομάδες αλλά και πολίτες που θέλουν να προσφέρουν χρόνο και υπηρεσίες θα μπορούν να αναζητήσουν , να προσφέρουν αλλά και να δεχτούν άμεσα υπηρεσίες και προϊόντα που επιθυμούν με χρήση της Τοπικής Εναλλακτικής Μονάδας(ΤΕΜ).
