Αποτελεί τον προαύλιο χώρο του ζωολογικού κήπου της πόλης καθώς και του Θέατρου δάσους που κατακλυζονται απο κόσμο τα Σαββατοκύριακα. Επίσεις έχει ένα μικρό λούνα πάρκ για μικρά παιδιά και μεγάλο ελεύθερο χώρο, που άλλοτε χρησιμοποιήται για εκδηλώσεις και άλλοτε ως πάρκινγκ αυτοκινήτων και μοτοσικλετών. Απο τις άκρες του βλέπεις πανοραμικά όλη την Θεσσαλονίκη και κάτω από τα δέντρα του παρέες κάνουν με κάθε ευκαιρία πικ νικ. Αποτελεί δε την δημοφιλέστερη εκκίνηση για την ανάβαση των περιπατητών και των εκδρομέων για το όμορφο δάσος του Σέιχ Σού. Είναι ένας πολυχρηστικός χώρος της πόλης μεγάλης χρησιμότητας που θα πρέπει να αναπτυχθεί ακόμη περισσότερο. Με την βοήθειά του δήμου καθώς και των πολιτών, θα πρέπει να βελτωθεί τόσο στο θέμα της καθαριότητας όσο και στην ποιοτικότερη αναμόρφωση του.
Few places are used by so many uses such as this square. It is the courtyard of the city's zoo as well as the Forest Theater that is flooded with people on weekends. Also there is a small amusement park for young children and a large outdoor area, sometimes used for events and sometimes as car and motorcycle parking. From its edges you can see panoramic views of all of Thessaloniki and under the trees there are picnics at every opportunity. It is the most popular start for hikers and hikers to the beautiful Sheikh Shu forest. It is a multi-purpose city of great utility that needs to be further developed. With the help of the municipality as well as the citizens, it should improve both on the issue of cleanliness and on improving its quality.
