The baklava was good, but the woman was rude and hates tourists. If you’re Greek maybe it’s a different experience, but stay away if you’re not. The lady called me “white as milk” as an insult and then when we only got one piece of baklava she rolled her eyes and said “oh, English”. There was nobody else in the store, yet she couldn’t wait for us to leave. If you don’t want tourists, maybe take down your English signs that lead tourists to the bakery....

Nice bread, very nice fresh bread sticks, friendly staff. Expensive compared with other bakeries on the island.

Wish I had read the reviews before hand! Pastry was disgusting, far too salty. And lady was rudest person I've met in Greece! Shouted at me for wanting to pay by card, saying why don't I have cash... very unpleasant. Avoid if you read this in time!

Great baked goods. A nice variety of greek pastries - sweet and savoury. The owner is rather enthusiastic about her products, but I do think I was overcharged on a couple of occasions, so keep an eye out on that one!

If there was a an option to give zero stars I would. When you walk around it seems very nice place from outside - traditional and welcoming. But when you get inside it becomes real disaster. The "lady" owner screams loudly to clients in greek because she thinks that they don't know the language. What we heard was very ugly, she said that she doesn't want any stupid tourists because she has enough local clients. The drama started when the woman in front of us asked why she needs to buy 2 plastic forks 1 euro each because she doesn't need them. The situation was very ugly. Then we talked each other with my friend and the owner recognized that we are bulgarians so she started to say in greek - go away stupid bulgarians... no more to say.

We were intrigued by the bad reviews, so my partner and I had to try our luck! And I have to say, WOW, the walnut cake and the baklava were simply sensational. Out of this world fresh and delicious — made from what tasted like real honey not fake syrups. The owner was kind to us and explained how she was third generation baker in her family (there are photos of her grandparents and parents on the wall).
