Διότι ξαφνικά γίναμε όλοι γιατροί κατά τη γνώμη της. Καμία ανθρωπιά, μία ακόμη αναίσθητη γιατρός σαν πολλούς άλλους εκεί έξω. I chose not to interfere with my breast in my 2 acquaintance and there was a frenzy. The insult I just asked for her opinion and not the intervention. Από το πρώτο ραντεβού μαζί της αισθάνθηκα ανακουφισμένη: μου έδωσε ελπίδα και θάρρος, μου εξήγησε λεπτομερώς την πορεία που θα ακολουθούσα κι επικοινωνούσε μαζί μου τακτικά εμψυχώνοντας με. Ήταν ακόμη πολύ εύστοχη στη διάγνωσή της, καθώς στο τέλος του πρώτου κύκλου της χημειοθεραπείας, που δεν ήταν ενθαρρυντικός, μου εξήγησε ότι η θεραπεία συνεχίζονταν με άλλο σχήμα που θα δρούσε διαφορετικά, όπως και έγινε κι ότι δεν είχα λόγο να απογοητευτώ. Ήταν ψύχραιμη, έντιμη, οξυδερκής και πάνω από όλα πολύ ικανή χειρουργός. Την ίδια ημέρα του χειρουργείου το στήθος μου, από το οποίο αφαιρέθηκε ένα μέρος, δε φαινόταν σχεδόν ότι ήταν χειρουργημένο! Δεν είναι τυχαίο που όλοι την εκτιμούν και τη σέβονται τόσο. Αισθάνομαι βαθιά ευγνωμοσύνη και την ευχαριστώ τόσο που δεν μπορεί να ειπωθεί με λόγια. Εύχομαι να είναι πάντα εκεί, υγιής, γιατί η κοινωνία μας οφείλει σε ανθρώπους όπως αυτή την πρόοδο της. Mrs. Tsionou is a very rare and dignified scientist but also a person who loves her patients and proves it every moment. From the first date with her I felt relieved: she gave me hope and courage, she explained in detail the course I would follow and she communicated with me regularly, animating me. She was still very apt in her diagnosis, as at the end of the first cycle of chemotherapy, which was not encouraging, she explained to me that the treatment was continuing in a different way that would work differently, as it did, and that I had no reason to be disappointed. She was cool, honest, perceptive and above all a very capable surgeon. On the same day of the surgery my breast, from which a part was removed, almost did not look like it was operated on! It is no coincidence that everyone appreciates and respects her so much. I feel deep gratitude and thank her so much that it can not be said in words. I hope she is always there, healthy, because our society owes to people like this its progress.

Το οτι ως γιατρος και εγω της εμπιστευτηκα την μητερα μου νομιζω τα λεει ολα! Scientifically I am small to judge it, Harvard and so many years of experience say it all I think! Immediate, simple, you feel familiar from the first moment! The fact that as a doctor I also trusted my mother, I think says it all!
