Always trust Greek tavernas that run out of items. Perdikis receives fish directly from the fishing boats that dock literally across the street. He sells what they catch and, if he doesn't have it, it was because the day's catch was either sold out or the boats didn't catch it. That means nothing is ever frozen or a day old.
