★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ότι και να πει κανείς για το UK είναι λίγα. Είναι τυχερά και τα δύο παιδιά μου που φοίτησαν στο UK ομοίως και εμείς οι γονείς που γνωρίσαμε τους εκπαιδευτικούς και το προσωπικό της γραμματείας.
There is little to say about the UK. Luckily for both of my children who studied in the UK as well as us parents who met the teachers and secretariat staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Επιτέλους, γευόμαστε τους καρπούς των σύγχρονων μεθόδων διδασκαλίας εφόσον το σχολείο αυτό τις χρησιμοποιεί και τις εξελίσσει εδώ και χρόνια (καλή η παραδοσιακή διδασκαλία αλλά, έλεος! ζούμε στο 2021). Τα παιδιά μας δεν μαθαίνουν -απλά- Αγγλικά στο UK. Το φοβερό είναι ότι βιώνουν τα Αγγλικά, μαθαίνουν να σκέφτονται στα Αγγλικά πριν τα μιλήσουν. Αυτό συμβαίνει διότι -στην ουσία- γίνονται πολίτες του κόσμου, διευρύνοντας παράλληλα τους ορίζοντές τους αφού με τη χρήση της τεχνολογίας έρχονται σε επαφή με άλλα σχολεία του κόσμου, κάνουν μαθήματα μαζί με αυτα, μοιράζονται εργασίες, κάνουν εικονικές περιηγήσεις σε μουσεία, σε δρόμους και γειτονιές του Λονδίνου, πηγαίνουν σε summer camps. Όλα αυτά -και άλλα πολλά "εργαλεία" που τους δίδονται- οφείλονται στην απίστευτα δημιουργική και ασύχαστη Ειρήνη και φυσικά στις μοναδικές (η καθεμία μοναδική) καθηγήτριες του UK. Ακόμα δεν έχω αναφερθεί στον ΑΠΙΣΤΕΥΤΟ χώρο που είναι κόσμημα στην πόλη, στη μονίμως θετική και συνεργατική διάθεση του προσωπικού, στο γεγονός ότι όλοι εκεί μέσα (καθηγητές, παιδιά, γραμματεία) επικοινωνούν μόνο στα Αγγλικά, και ότι από όσο παρακολουθώ οι επιτυχίες των παιδιών στις εξετάσεις είναι στο 100%. Ε, πως να μην ήταν! Τα παιδιά μαθαίνουν βιώνοντας τα Αγγλικά και άρα τα κατέχουν.
Finally, we taste the fruits of modern teaching methods as long as this school uses and develops them for years (traditional teaching is good but, mercy! We live in 2021). Our children do not learn -simply- English in the UK. The awesome thing is that they experience English, they learn to think in English before they speak it. This is because -in essence- they become citizens of the world, while expanding their horizons as they use technology to get in touch with other schools in the world, take classes with them, share assignments, take virtual tours of museums, streets and London neighborhoods, go to summer camps. All this - and many other "tools" given to them - is due to the incredibly creative and unforgettable Peace and of course to the unique (each unique) UK teachers. I have not yet mentioned the INCREDIBLE space that is a jewel in the city, in the permanently positive and cooperative mood of the staff, in the fact that everyone in there (teachers, children, secretariat) communicates only in English, and that since I watch the success of children in exam is at 100%. Well, how could it not be! Children learn by experiencing English and therefore mastering it.
