Underground is the place to go. Right in the center of Athens, in Exarchia, you can listen to all sorts of heavy metal and drink beer. Lots of beer. Lots and lots of beer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heavy Metal Bar, one of the best I ever visited. Music is regardless, extreme and loud.. If you like the genre, the place is comfortable, nice and intimate to enjoy a couple of beers at night or even a hot chocolate in the afternoon! Cause it is open all day !! Walls are covered in metal bands posters and pictures, a real electric guitar is hung above the counter and a "curtain" of chains separates the section with tables from the one with couches. It's not a live club but a real cafe with super amazing music.
