A	Athanasios Karagioras on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Το Τμήμα Μηχανικών Περιβάλλοντος ιδρύθηκε το 1998 με την ονομασία Τμήμα Διαχείρισης Περιβάλλοντος και Φυσικών Πόρων και μετονομάστηκε σε Τμήμα Μηχανικών Περιβάλλοντος τον Μάιο του 2019, (Ν. 4610/2019). Το Τμήμα Μηχανικών Περιβάλλοντος δεν είναι νέο, έχει την ιστορία και την παρακαταθήκη του Τμήματος Διαχείρισης Περιβάλλοντος και Φυσικών Πόρων από το 1999, ενός Τμήματος με μεγάλη συνεισφορά στην Εκπαίδευση και στην Έρευνα στον τομέα της επιστήμης και της τεχνολογίας του Περιβάλλοντος και συνεχίζει να αναπτύσσεται δυναμικά. Το Τμήμα σήμερα έχει δώδεκα, (12), μέλη Διδακτικού και Ερευνητικού Προσωπικού που καλύπτουν με το διδακτικό και ερευνητικό τους έργο όλο το φάσμα των γνωστικών αντικειμένων της Περιβαλλοντικής Μηχανικής και εν γένει του Περιβάλλοντος. Το Τμήμα στεγάζεται στο Αγρίνιο, σε δύο κτήρια συνολικού εμβαδού 4500 τ.μ. Στην κτηριακή υποδομή του Τμήματος περιλαμβάνονται τέσσερις, (4), αίθουσες διδασκαλίας 90 θέσεων και οκτώ εργαστήρια συνολικού εμβαδού 580 τ.μ. Επίσης, υπάρχουν τρεις αίθουσες Ηλεκτρονικών Υπολογιστών, μια Αίθουσα Συνεδριάσεων εμβαδού 87 τ.μ. και ένα σύγχρονο αμφιθέατρο 220 θέσεων, συνολικού εμβαδού 293 τ.μ. The Department of Environmental Engineering was founded in 1998 under the name Department of Environmental Management and Natural Resources and was renamed the Department of Environmental Engineering in May 2019 (Law 4610/2019). The Department of Environmental Engineering is not new, it has the history and legacy of the Department of Environmental and Natural Resources Management since 1999, a Department with a great contribution to Education and Research in the field of Environmental science and technology and continues to grow dynamically. The Department currently has twelve (12), members of Teaching and Research Staff who cover with their teaching and research work the whole range of subjects of Environmental Engineering and the Environment in general. The Department is housed in Agrinio, in two buildings with a total area of 4500 sq.m. The building infrastructure of the Department includes four (4), classrooms of 90 places and eight laboratories with a total area of 580 sq.m. Also, there are three computer rooms, a meeting room of 87 sq.m. and a modern amphitheater of 220 seats, with a total area of 293 sq.m.
