★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mitsos' is a legendary kafenio and ouzeri , one of the best places to hang out for an ouzo or beer in the northern suburbs of Athens. Fresh fish meze , excellent service and fantastic prices. Its fried fish (especially koutsomoura) is one of the best in Athens.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quality of food remains very good.Quantity it could be offerred more.Another pleasant surprise was that due to protective measures for covid 19 the atmosphere and the surrounding was more friendly and not crowded , consequently you could enjoy with the food the square also ,which indeed is beautiful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small tavern specialising in fish, traditional finger food and traditional greek spirits like ouzo and tsipouro. Situated on a large opening at the central square of halandri. The quality of food is unparalleled, fried fish taste light and fresh. Has a variety of dishes with some of them having a spicy tone. The prices are very low compared to the quality of the services offered. However it is not a luxury gourmet restaurant and it should only be visited for what it is : a rare ouzo tavern that has kept the good side of the greek popular way of dining alive

Traditional old-school greek decoration, simple layout and friendly waiters who can tell you the names of 20something different fishes of the menu in less than a few seconds! And then the food comes... OMG the koutsomouras, the barbounakia and the baby cod will blow your minds! Don't miss this place at any cost.
