Vakxikon.gr Media & Publishing Group was founded in 2012 and the eponymous bookstore is open since 2014 in the center of Athens. Vakxikon.gr is a rapidly growing publishing group (4 imprints in Greece and Cyprus, 3 international literary & cinema projects, 2 digital media brands), with a leading position in the book market thanks to its publications (120 new titles annual) and promotion of cultural awareness. In 2019, Vakxikon Pubications represented Greece in the 1st Young Publishing Professionals in Brussels (YPPiB), organized by Federation of European Publishers (FEP). In 2021, Vakxikon Publications got the Special Award from the Turkish Federation of Professional Publishing Associations (YAYFED) for the promotion of Turkish literature in the Greek language.
