★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent!!! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Boat not at all crowded and health and safety was a big thing for the crew. We saw some dodgy sites of other operators but these guys are absolutely ace, really can’t speak highly enough!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yiannis and his crew are absolutely superb this was our second cruise with Valsamis cruise's having gone over to Zante the previous year. As a boat captain his professionalism is second to none and will put the safety of the guests over anything else. The ithaka cruise is well recommended and Yiannis makes it a day to remember he is a very personable chap and goes out of his way to chat and make you welcome on his superb boat. With regards to a previous review that mentions deposits and failure to turn up. We booked this cruise 2 months in advance via email no deposit paid you pay on the boat and were collected from the village square via coach as always. If you want one of the better excursions in kefalonia go with Valsamis cruise's.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the harbour of Poros, we paid for the trip at the gangplank and no deposit had been paid as has been claimed on other posts. Captain Ioannis Valsamis was superb in his professionalism while taking us to Ithaki on the "Aggelsol" I asked what he did in Winter, "fishing" he said and for the next 30 mins he spoke to me about the boat, the climate and particularly his family and expecting to live to be a very old man like his father & grandfather. We had a fantastic day swimming in turquoise bays and visiting the capital Vathy and the little port of Kioni. With the fantastic crew and the glorious weather all made this cruise an excellent day out

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Phenomenal experience! We were collected from our hotel by Captain Yannis, he was expressly clear that his boat skills were better than his driving and oh man he wasn’t wrong! He was however such a nice man, very funny and extremely knowledgeable about the islands. The boat was not over crowded like many others can be and the journey to Ithaca was broken up by a stop over for a swim and some educational info from Yannis about the Island. The stop overs on the cruse were beautiful and a second swim stop broke the journey back up perfectly. We were then given a lift back to our hotel by Yannis’s daughter Sophia and her boyfriend Tom (have to say, Toms driving was much easier to live with!). Everything about the day was fantastic and we would highly recommend this cruse, thanks everyone…!
