Не рекомендую посещать одиноким леди, так как монастырь находится далеко от поселения и охраняется озабоченным сторожем! The road to the monastery is fabulous, the views are stunning. The frescoes really admire their antiquity. I do not recommend visiting lonely ladies as the monastery is far from the settlement and is guarded by an anxious watchman!

Die Kirche hat wundervolle Wandmalereien, diese wurden von dem berühmten kretischen Maler Konstantin Rikos gemalt. Heute ist es verlassen und wer es besuchen will sollte Sonnabends früh gegen 8 Uhr da sein. Da findet eine Prozession statt und Gäste sind willkommen, angemessene Kleidung und nicht im Inneren fotografieren - das sollte selbstverständlich sein. Der Besucher wird es nicht bereuen. Die Aura des Innenraums ist sehr beeindruckend. The Valsamonero Monastery was built during the early Venetian rule and shows a very beautiful and still original architecture (1332). The church has wonderful murals, painted by the famous Cretan painter Konstantin Rikos. Today it is abandoned and who wants to visit it should be there at 8 o'clock in the morning. There is a procession taking place and guests are welcome, wearing appropriate clothing and not photographing inside - that should be self-evident. The visitor will not regret it. The aura of the interior is very impressive.
