★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great food! We went during the low season and we could just ask for anything, we were the only guest. They only had one person that speaks German, nobody speaks English, fortunately I've lived in Berlin and was able to communicate. The calamari was fantastic, so was the chicken souvlaki. Loved the black olives.

All dishes are fresh, delicious, and made from scratch daily. My friends and I had a wonderful time at Velissarios and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! Μπράβο σας!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We’ve been a couple of times to Velissarios. And every time, we had at least 1 failed dish (fried zucchini, for instance, see the photo) but also some decent food. The place is not bad, they have a good atmosphere, good food (lamb chops, for instance), but you can find a few better places in the area. The owner is very friendly, the service is good, and prices are moderate. It’s a good compromise if you are in the area, but it will not be the best greek food you’ll have.
