Venus Club Rethymno - Komvos

I’d hate to be the first to leave a negative review but guys need to be warned about some not so honest dancers here. I spoke with the manager a day after the situation occurred. Although he was empathetic to what happened, I still feel I needed to write a review so others can be on guard for dishonest behavior. It involves a tall old Hungarian woman. My buddy and I walked in around 1am, sat down and ordered two drinks. The dancer in question sat down and introduced herself. Her English was very good. She seemed nice enough. She talked about how times were hard and that if I would buy her a drink. I did but she didn’t actually sit with me. She ran around the club here and there doing everything else. This transaction ended up being a waste of money but I overlooked. Then she cracks on my buddy for an expensive dance. He threw caution to the wind and thought he’d help her out since she was new at the club. He went back for an $30- something dance but he said it only lasted a like half a song. We call the dancer over to inquire. She got quite nasty with us. We decided that since we were on vacation, let’s not ruin it further. So we left. This dancer was very good at earning your trust (showing us her Instagram etc) but once she got your money, she figures tourist won’t be back so no need to keep the act up.
