★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always enjoy going back to Vergos taverna. The food is always delicious, with good quality products and at very reasonable prices for the island. I find it one of the warmest welcome in Mykonos. I like the authentic Greek traditional dish selection and the peaceful location - a rare find on the island. I can 100% recommend the place for couples, singles or family for a lunch, dinner or just a coffee and cake as they also serve some delicious traditional Greek sweets.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We ate diner there twice for 7 days, the food was as good as at other much more expensive restaurants on the island and sometimes even better and the prices are one of the best out there. But the most important thing was that they apriciate their clients especially when they are returning, something that we didn't felt at Kastros where we spend a lot more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wanted to put zero star but unfortunately not possible. Where to start?... Quality of food was averaged, Service almost inexistant, kids playing around and making noise (at a point i turned to what seemed to be the owner's wife, who was grounding the kids, which were obviously over-spoiled kids and won't listen when the mom asked them to stay quiet and not disturbing the guests, and i just told her to let go, that they are just kids after all)..
The grilled Sardines was awful, and we had to asked twice for the bill while we were the only guest in the restaurant at that time. Very dissapointed, we are definitely not comimg back. We rather recommend the other tavernas around this one ; better food, service and prices too...
